Our vision is “working to improve lives” and we achieve this in line with our organisational values of being compassionate, empowering and open.
Our services include:
Mental health services
- We provide a wide range of treatment and support to young people, adults and older people experiencing mental illness both as inpatients and within the community. This includes treatment in secure and specialised settings.
Community health services
- Our diverse range of community health services provide support and treatment to both adults and children. We deliver this care in community hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries and in people’s homes.
Learning disabilities services
- We provide crisis support and inpatient services and our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities.
- We provide personalised social care support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities or mental illness, supporting people to live independently.
We are looking for individuals to join the EPUT team and be part of transforming services in our communities.
In return we can offer exceptional education, training and development opportunities as well as a wide range of benefits, which include flexible working opportunities, salary sacrifice schemes and the opportunity to buy or sell up to one week of annual leave to support a healthy work-life balance. In addition to this the Trust also offers a generous relocation package where applicants meet the eligibility criteria.

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is recruiting for the vaccination programme across Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System, delivered in partnership with EPUT. The Trust is delighted to have been appointed as one of the three lead providers in the region and is committed to ensuring that the vaccine is delivered to the public at the highest standard.
We are therefore seeking healthcare professionals across Essex and Suffolk to be at the forefront of the local fight against coronavirus – you could be part of it!
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join us and play your part in protecting the community and saving lives. The role forms an integral part of mass vaccination delivery and is an excellent opportunity for individuals to be a part of a new, exciting service and to develop their skills in a new area of work.
We are open to flexible working opportunities and therefore would consider applicants who wish to apply on a full time or part time basis working flexibly via our Bank Bureau, or alternatively on a fixed term contract with set shifts, an annualised hours contract or even a secondment basis. If you are interested in working on a secondment basis, have you considered a part time secondment where you continue to work in your substantive role part time and also support the vaccination programme part time?
As a Registered Healthcare Professional working in one of EPUT’s vaccination centres, you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of covid-19 vaccinations to the local area. You will undertake activities such as clinical assessment and drawing up of the vaccine, as directed by the Clinical Manager of the vaccination centre. Please review the attached job description and person specification for more information.
All online and face-to-face training (where applicable) will be available prior to commencing work in the vaccination centres, meaning that refresher training will be provided if you feel it is necessary. You will also receive additional support from the Clinical Manager at the vaccination centre as and when required.
Once you have applied for the role via NHS Jobs, your application will be reviewed within a matter of days and one of the Mass Vaccination Recruitment Team will make contact with you to outline the next steps of the recruitment process.
Please note that to apply for the position you are required to be registered with a professional body such as; NMC, HCPC, GDC, GMC, GPhC. Please therefore ensure that your registration details are listed on your application form to enable us to proceed with your recruitment application.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the United Kingdom (UK) are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. Please note that from January 2021, to work in the UK all candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals require sponsorship unless you have permission to work via another route. Non UK / RoI candidates wishing to apply can self-assess the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship here. It is vital that you provide full and accurate details of your current immigration status on the application form. Overseas applicants applying for entry clearance into the UK must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided in continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Guidance can be found here. Not everyone needs a ‘Skilled Worker’ visa. If you are applying for a vacancy in health or adult social care, check if you’re eligible to apply for the Health and Care Worker visa instead.
